At the property: In summer the seafront road and the harbour area get busy in the evening; at those times it is practical to set the pick-up point at the start of your street. Around the harbour and the castle in central Alanya the streets are narrow and steep; the car may not reach the door of some hotels and the driver may drop you at the nearest suitable point. Many Alanya hotels and apartment properties carry common names such as Kleopatra, Sun or Alanya; confirm the name and the neighbourhood (centre, Tosmur, Oba, Kestel and so on) when you book.
Return transfer: When leaving central Alanya, allow for traffic around the harbour and the seafront road; for hotels on narrow streets, agree in advance where the car will wait (a corner leading to the main street, for example). For the return, check on your ticket which airport you fly from (AYT or GZP) and, if AYT, which terminal; agree the pick-up time accordingly. On the morning of the pick-up, settle checkout beforehand, keep your luggage ready and make sure the phone number on your booking is switched on.
