At the property: Around the harbour and the castle in central Alanya the streets are narrow and steep; the car may not reach the door of some hotels and the driver may drop you at the nearest suitable point. Alanya is a long district stretching east–west along the coast; places with the same name can be at opposite ends of it, which makes the map location the most reliable description. In summer the seafront road and the harbour area get busy in the evening; at those times it is practical to set the pick-up point at the start of your street.
Return transfer: When leaving central Alanya, allow for traffic around the harbour and the seafront road; for hotels on narrow streets, agree in advance where the car will wait (a corner leading to the main street, for example). For the return, check on your ticket which airport you fly from (AYT or GZP) and, if AYT, which terminal; agree the pick-up time accordingly. If you have a very early flight, tell the hotel a day ahead; it helps if the property knows about early checkout and breakfast.
